The shift pattern for this post is 8.45-16.45 Monday – Thursday, and 8.45 – 16.15 on Friday.
The post involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at West Dunbartonshire Addictions Services, based in the Dumbarton Joint Hospital Team. The role requires demonstrating compassionate care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating complex care programs using a strength-based, recovery-focused approach that involves the individual and promotes self-management.
The post-holder will work independently, support, and supervise registered and unregistered nursing staff, and promote partnership working with patients, carers, and other professionals in line with legislative frameworks, standards, and policies. Work will be carried out in various community settings, including patients’ homes.
Key responsibilities include participating in and providing nurse supervision, undertaking line management duties, mentoring, preceptorship, and supporting staff development. The candidate must demonstrate ongoing professional development and qualifications.
Essential requirements: experience in addictions and a valid driving license.
