Job Role: Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30-3:30, five days a week
Location: Daventry
Teaching Personnel is dedicated to providing excellent education and support to students. We are welcoming applications from experienced Teaching Assistants to work in our friendly schools to make a difference in the lives of students. We have opportunities in Daventry for passionate Teaching Assistants seeking a new role.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the class teacher with lessons and activities
2. Work in small groups or with individuals
3. Help manage the classroom and prepare equipment for lessons
4. Encourage and provide an engaging learning environment
5. Follow behaviour and safeguarding policies to ensure a safe learning environment for all students and staff
6. Monitor and give feedback on students' progress
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role
* Enthusiasm for education and helping students succeed
* Good communication skills
* Approachable and friendly demeanor
* A Child Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
* Good time management skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant qualification) if possible
