We are recruiting a Land Surveyor for the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) to support the Sizewell C nuclear power station project, a 3.2‑gigawatt facility that will provide low‑carbon electricity to around six million homes across the UK for at least 60 years.
Role Overview
The Land Surveyor will support the Survey Manager in leading delivery of all survey requirements. Responsibilities include engineering control and topographic surveys, setting‑out, quality assurance, data capture, health and safety standards, safety briefings, and ensuring survey outputs meet professional benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop the survey team
* Conduct engineering control and topographic surveys
* Set out and verify survey outputs
* Prepare safety briefings and promote H&S standards
* Ensure high‑quality data capture and quality assurance
Requirements
* Solid experience in construction surveying
* Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and modern survey equipment
* CSCS card (mandatory)
* SMSTS qualification or progression towards chartered status (advantage)
* Strong technical skills, leadership, commitment to safe and sustainable work
