About the role:
As an Accountant you will work alongside the Senior Accountant, assisting in the preparation of accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, payroll, and bookkeeping. You will ensure accurate and timely reporting in line with internal and statutory deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Prepare and review financial reports, including statutory, management, and charitable trust accounts, and assist in preparing self-assessment, corporation, and partnership tax returns.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and provide accurate financial advice, consulting senior accountants when necessary.
Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of company services and products while handling sensitive information confidentially.
Support and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and assisting with internal and external queries.
Promote compliance with legal accounting standards and contribute to revenue maximisation, cost savings, and efficient expenditure management.
About you:
As an Accountant, you will be motivated, be a part-ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant (or equivalent) with 2-3 years' experience, and a strong grounding in accounting principles, key tax matters (Corporation Tax, Personal Tax) and accounting software. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a client-focused, solution-oriented approach are essential.
