Join a specialist design & construction consultancy as a Health & Safety Consultant based in the Midlands. This role would be ideal for someone in the early part of their health and safety career, who can demonstrate some construction focused HS experience or design risk management knowledge and is looking to develop in a supportive and dynamic team environment. The main focus of the role is CDM, so a design qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential.
You will be joining a small safety team focussed on delivering CDM Advisory work across a wide range of projects including, but not limited to office fitouts, new builds, and maintenance projects at key landmarks across the capital and regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering health and safety advice to internal stakeholders and clients
* Supporting delivery of the CDM Principal Designer role.
* Advising clients on their responsibilities in relation to construction works.
* Undertaking health and safety audits on construction sites and at client facilities.
* Important to note that you do not need extensive experience in these areas to apply, as training is available to get to this level.
Person Specification
* Hold a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and ideally a member of IOSH.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
* Drive and enthusiasm with the willingness to learn, develop and grow in the role.
This is homebased role but would need to be Midlands based as the team meets up quite often to do training and development. This role would give you the opportunity to work in a social company with lot's going on outside of the day job. Staff retention in the business is excellent, and the team offers a clear route for professional growth. For more information call Dom Jacques - 020 7960 2551
