GSL Education are seeking passionate Physical Education Teachers to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is a fantastic opportunity to encourage physical development, teamwork, and confidence through high-quality PE teaching.
As a PE Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
* Encourage pupils’ participation and confidence in a range of sporting activities.
* Monitor and assess pupil performance and progress.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school development.
* Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements for the role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
* Experience teaching PE at secondary level.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and inspirational teaching style.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
