Job Description Job Title: CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) Location: Northampton Salary: £36,400 Overtime Permanent / Full-Time We are working with a well-established and busy engineering business in Northampton who are looking to appoint an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company offering consistent overtime and a strong team environment. Due to the location, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport. Key Responsibilities Setting, operating and programming CNC lathes Working with Fanuc controls Producing precision components to tight tolerances Reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings Machining a range of materials including 316, 304, Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy Inspecting own work to ensure quality standards are met Working Hours Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 14:30 or 07:00 – 15:30 Friday: 06:00 – 12:00 38 hours per week Overtime readily available, including Saturdays The Ideal Candidate (Essential) Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) Experience working with Fanuc controls Ability to programme, set and operate CNC machines independently Confident reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings Experience working with a range of materials including stainless steels and specialist alloys Ability to inspect own work and work to tight tolerances Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification Experience within a fast-paced machining environment Full UK driving licence and access to own transport Benefits Salary of £36,400 Overtime readily available (including Saturdays) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (some days reserved for Christmas shutdown) Pension scheme and health scheme
