Bookkeeper – Accountancy Practice
Salary: £24,000 – £32,000 (Depending on Experience)

We are working on behalf of a well‑established and friendly accountancy firm to recruit a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety of working with a range of clients across different sectors, and who thrives in a practice environment.
The Role:
As a Bookkeeper within this supportive firm, your duties will include:
* Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
* Bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Assisting with management accounts
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and ensure accurate records
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a UK accountancy practice environment
* Strong bookkeeping and VAT knowledge
* Familiarity with cloud‑based software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
* A positive, team‑oriented mindset
