Our Teynham site have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team on a full time permanent basis!
As a Transport Supervisor you will be responsible for leading the traffic operations team and driver team in ensuring the planning of company and third party resources. As well as managing vehicle utilisation and ensuring drivers are given clear and precise instructions.
Salary:£38,000- £41,000 per annum.
Shift:Wednesday-Saturday, 7am-7pm.
Key Duties of a Transport Supervisor:
1. To ensure that colleagues you have responsibility for work within a safe environment and that the transport operation, and its drivers, operates within current transport related regulations.
2. Manage driver performance and behaviors using available technology and tools focusing on drivers hours, infringements, driving style and driver compliance such as vehicle checks etc.
