We are seeking a Scheduler to support the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective planning of our daily flight operations. In this role, you will manage Day 0 1 schedules, optimise crew and aircraft pairings, and ensure all assignments meet regulatory and company requirements. The position requires strong coordination across Operations, Maintenance, Crew Dispatch, and Flight Communications, along with the ability to resolve issues quickly and maintain accuracy under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Manage Day 0 1 schedules, ensuring all crew pairings and aircraft assignments are legal, compliant, and confirmed. Work closely with Flight Communications to action crew updates or issues received via phone or other channels. Optimize crew and aircraft pairings to minimize positioning, idle time, and cost while maximizing utilization. Identify and resolve schedule inefficiencies. Plan crew positioning and rotations in line with company standards and communicate finalized plans to Crew Dispatch for booking. Monitor crew legality and compliance using the legality checker; track duty limits and secure necessary authorizations. Verify crew qualifications (CAT C airports, type endorsements, etc.) and maintain current endorsement and compliance records. Communicate schedule changes promptly to relevant departments for full operational awareness. Flag potential sell-off trips based on utilization and inform the Duty Manager for validation and Revenue Management coordination. Coordinate with Crew Dispatch, Maintenance, and Operations to align crew, aircraft, and trip timing. Support the Scheduling Supervisor during IROPS (AOGs, delays, last-minute changes) with schedule adjustments and solutions. Collaborate with U.S. and European scheduling teams for cross-regional optimization of fleet and crew resources. Participate in shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and continuity between teams. Monitor tactical performance and report risks or gaps to leadership. Requirements: Previous experience in aviation scheduling, crew planning, or operations control (fractional, charter, or airline background preferred). Strong understanding of crew duty/rest regulations, legality, and ICAO compliance. Skilled in real-time problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management. Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple teams and time zones. Proficient with any scheduling or operational systems (e.g. LEON, FOS, or similar). High attention to detail and ability to maintain composure under pressure. Flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, supporting 24/7 operations.
