As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across a broad age range. You may lead small groups, support 1:1 sessions, and even step in to deliver planned lessons in the teacher’s absence. Your adaptability and initiative will be key to helping pupils thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of lessons across various key stages
* Lead small group interventions and targeted learning sessions
* Assist with planning, assessment, and classroom organisation
* Deliver pre-planned lessons when required
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
What We’re Looking For:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Confidence in leading sessions and supporting whole-class teaching
* Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
