Job Title: Electrician – Repairs and MaintenanceLocation: StevenageReports to: Service Manager or Managing SupervisorOverall PurposeTo install, repair, maintain, test, and certify electrical systems to a high standard, ensuringpliance with current electrical regulations and safety requirements.Key Responsibilities
1. Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances inmercial and domestic premises.
2. Carry out programmed maintenance and servicing inmercial and domestic settings.
3. Conduct testing, safety inspections, electrical certification, fault-finding, and remedial works.
4. Provide accurate daily operational information electronically or otherwise, in line with regulatory andpany requirements.
5. Ensure all worksply withpany procedures, Health & Safety standards, COSHH regulations, and PPE requirements.
6. Ensure all plant and equipment is functional, maintained, and certificated; report defects and dispose of waste correctly.
7. Identify safeguarding concerns and follow procedures, making appropriate referrals.
Essential Skills & Experience
8. Certified qualifications and experience in domestic andmercial electrical works.
9. Proven knowledge of electrical fixed wire testing, installation, and maintenance up to 230v.
10. Ability toplete certifications accurately and follow procedures.
11. Ability to interpret technical data, drawings, and instructions.
12. Experience in a customer-focused environment with performance targets.
13. Ability to work independently with strong organisational and time management skills.
14. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
15. Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices.

Essential:C&G 236 Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)17th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations
Desirable:C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations
