Hays are working with a business in Telford who are looking to recruit a Temporary Receptionist who is responsible for providing front‑of‑house support, ensuring all visitors are weed professionally and that reception operations run smoothly. The role supports site staff, visitors, and contractors by coordinating access, managing passes, handling iing post, and maintaining an organised reception area.
Your new role
As a Temporary Receptionist, your role will involve:
1. Greet and sign in all visitors on arrival.
2. Inform staff when their guests have arrived.
3. Hand out visitor and staff passes.
4. Create new passes for newly onboarded staff.
5. Maintain a professional and weing reception area.
6. Liaise with site teams when contractors are due to attend.
7. Ensure contractors follow sign‑in procedures.
8. Support coordination of contractor access as required.
9. Administrative Support.
10. Sort iing and outgoing post.
11. Book meeting rooms and maintain the room schedule.
12. Assist with reception‑related queries from staff and visitors.
13. Carry out general administrative duties as required.
