My client is on a technology-led transformation journey and is looking for a Senior Developer to play a key role in shaping critical platforms used across major engineering programmes.
You’ll take ownership from concept to delivery — designing, building and optimising solutions, working closely with stakeholders, and helping drive best practice across a close-knit development team.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and leaving systems better than they found them.
You’ll work with modern Java, contribute to architectural decisions, and help evolve platforms that really matter — all with flexible, hybrid working and just one on-site visit per month.
* Strong Java (8+, ideally 11/21)
* Strong Perl
* OO analysis & design
* Web services (REST/SOAP) and core web technologies
