The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Analytical Development Scientist to join our team in Nottingham. This is a full-time permanent position.
This is apredominantly lab-based positionwithin ourAnalytical Developmentteam; you will be responsible for:
* Conducting analytical method set up/ transfer and method qualification.
* Testing samples to support formulation development aspects of a study.
* Ensuring full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Completing analytical testing (e.g.: Assay Related Substances and Dissolution) to deadlines.
* Using HPLC / GC / Karl fisher and otherLaboratory equipment for the analysis sample.
* Writing up lab work in line with GMP and ALCOA+ principles
* Completing analytical development and qualification activities with guidance.
* Evaluate data generated and contributing to problem solving activities with guidance.
* Checking of reagent preparations.
* Completing cleaning verifications and writing cleaning verification reports and protocols with assistance.
* Participating in activities to support the general upkeep of the Laboratory and its equipment.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum HNC or HND in Chemistry
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Previous experience working in a laboratory or a similar technical environment is desirable
