Our Major Defence AIR Human Factors Centre of Expertise is looking for qualified and experienced Human Factors practitioners to work alongside existing team members. We are a friendly, close knit team of 30, with varied backgrounds and experiences. Our CLient are seeking to grow capability and presence on the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme. Due to classification, the role will be based at on site at our Warton site with occasional business travel. Activities may include: Requirements generation and management Mission Analysis Generation of Human Factors best practice design philosophies Development of concept designs Evaluation and assessment of designs Selection of suitable Human Factors tools and techniques Documenting results in a high quality, concise manner Presentation of results to a range of stakeholders Responsibilities Essential: Human Factors qualification or equivalent degree with relevant work experience Excellent communication skiils, written and verbal High quality standards for outputs (e.g. reports, presentations etc) Desirable: Chartered human factors specialist Working knowledge of Def Stan 00-251 Working knowledge of the Engineering Life Cycle Experience in the defence sector and/or military air Additional: Due to the sensitive nature of the product all applicants must have worked within the Defence / Military industry within the last 12 months or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance (SC level minimum).
