* 2 Year PQE accountant with a recognised professional body (eg ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA)
* Experience in a project-based finance team within the construction, infrastructure or similar industry

Senior Project Accountant
Responsibility includes maintaining the integrity of ledgers and control environment for the project, building close working relationships with commercial and delivery teams.
* Production of monthly and ad-hoc reports including rolling forecasts, cash-flows, balance sheet reconciliations, and other reporting requirements.
* Understand commercial contracts to challenge the commercial position, ensuring reporting reflects contract performance accurately.
* Work with senior management to improve project reporting and reduce commercial risk.
* Ensure accurate and timely billing of costs to clients, including management and collection of aged debts.
* Prepare robust cash forecasts and report them accurately.
* Collaborate with commercial teams to minimize WIP and meet cash collection targets.
* Provide governance around delegated authority processes, ensuring compliance and controls to prevent non-conforming authorisations and purchases.
* Oversee staff utilisation forecasts to reduce non-productivity and forecast staff recoverability accurately.
* Manage expenses in accordance with company policies.
