Overview of Role:
As a cleaning operative, you will undertake cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning service in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of assigned areas to ensure a positive environment for customers.
* Deliver and sustain a clean environment throughout the hospital, adhering to operational standards.
* Present yourself professionally and courteously, following company policies and values.
* Complete all cleaning and waste collection duties within designated premises.
* Perform physical tasks such as lifting, as required.
* Conduct comprehensive cleaning tasks, including washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, and dusting, maintaining high hygiene standards.
* Assist with laundry duties and rotas if needed.
* Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
* Take responsibility for your area, ensuring it meets high standards.
* Maintain good relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by your line manager.
About You:
* Good time management skills.
* Positive, professional attitude with a 'can-do' approach.
* Friendly and helpful with customers.
* Effective time management to complete tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.
* An enhanced DBS check will be required.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
