About Bourne Transport
Bourne Transport is an established vehicle recovery company based in Poole, Dorset. Clients include police, ambulance, and fire services; private customers, councils, truck, bus, and coach operators; major motoring organisations; and franchised truck and bus dealerships.
We operate mainly in Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch, recovering vehicles wherever they need to go. We are a small, friendly company that values its staff and customers equally.

Potential applicants must be physically fit, self-motivated, and able to work independently. They must also be able to keep accurate records.

Location: You will be based at our depot, which is located near Wallisdown in Poole, Dorset. Due to the “on-call” requirement, applicants must live in the Bournemouth/Poole area.
Working hours: In addition to a standard working week, you will be required to be on call for nights andweekends as part of a rolling roster.
DBS Check: Our police contract requires us to carry out a DBS check to ensure employees are not barred from carrying out duties associated with recovery roles.
Role/Duties:
* Recovering vehicles using specialised equipment.
* Providing roadside assistance and customer support.
* Ensuring the safe transportation of recovered vehicles to our depot or other destination.
* Complying with all road traffic and safety regulations.
The work is rewarding, varied, and interesting. Depending on your qualifications and level of training, it could include:
* Roadside recovery of broken-down heavy, light commercial, and private vehicles using appropriate specialised equipment
* Winching of all vehicle types
* Recovering vehicles involved in major or minor accidents
* Recovering vehicles involved in crime
You will be required to confidently and carefully drive a variety of vehicles.
Training in the safe use of our equipment will be provided.
