Role Responsibilities
* Managing all vehicles entering and exiting the site, weighing their load, quality checking and recording data accurately – on site for Tarmac Dry Rigg Quarry and remotely for Tarmac Arcow Quarry.
* Recording and calculating inputs and outputs, producing weighbridge tickets and directing all vehicles to the correct area on our site.
* Recording all weighbridge activity correctly, accurately and with high organisation.
* Liaising with drivers as they deliver to the site and resolving any issues or problems that occur.
* Liaising with other site team members to keep a steady flow of traffic moving.
* Liaising with other Weighbridge personnel to ensure the Weighbridge is maintained during the site’s opening hours.
* Answering phone enquiries.
* Dealing with other administrative tasks including raising purchase orders and administering all purchasing for both Tarmac Dry Rigg Quarry and Tarmac Arcow Quarry.
Ideal Candidate
* Effective communication skills.
* Desire to develop both operative and supervisory skills.
* Good IT skills with experience in Microsoft packages.
* Knowledge of HGV weight restrictions or flexible to learn.
* Experience in the same or similar role (training will be provided to the successful applicant).
* Proven ability to be a motivated team player.
* Professional attitude when engaging with all colleagues and contractors.
