As a 3P Country Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial agenda, relationships, performance, innovation, and reliability of our transportation network in Italy and Germany. You will work cross-functionally with teams across the entire Amazon business.
Your responsibilities include managing complex transportation operations, negotiating with carriers, and leading strategic initiatives to improve demand planning, capacity management, volume allocation, and delivery performance from first mile to last mile.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute transportation strategies for Germany and Italy, impacting millions of customers.
* Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
* Lead negotiations and manage contracts with core strategic partners.
* Drive innovation in delivery solutions, including micro-fulfilment and same-day delivery initiatives.
* Optimize the transportation network through data analysis and strategic contracting.
* Lead cross-functional projects to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
About the Team
Our team manages the 3P transportation strategy and implementation at the country and EU level, including procurement, contract management, and carrier relationships.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
* Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, or contract negotiations.
* Strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCMP).
* Experience managing large-scale strategies and high-value negotiations.
