Main Duties:
1. Triage initial support requests and direct/action accordingly
2. Provide IT support from basic user administration through to project tasks
3. Respond to user requests and assist via telephone, electronically or in person
4. Escalate calls to and liaise with third party support providers/suppliers to resolve issues
5. Monitor stock levels of IT equipment
6. Monitor computing power, storage, licences and services
7. Provide input and assistance to projects, including the selection, configuration and deployment of new systems and technologies
8. Audit of device access, ensuring starters and leavers are processed effectively
9. Document administrative tasks and procedures
Essential Requirements:
10. Good standard of education
11. Full driving licence
12. Analytical thinking, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
13. Attention to detail
14. Excellent organisation and communication skills.
15. Excellent time management with a flexible approach
16. The ability to manage a busy workload whilst thriving under pressure
17. Confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels
Essential Technical Experience:
18. IT degree, qualification or equivalent practical experience
19. A minimum of 3 years previous working experience within varied IT infrastructure and associated services
20. Active Directory user/group/computer admin
21. Windows file permission administration
22. Understanding of Windows group policy (GPOs)
23. Exchange 2016/Exchange Online user admin
24. Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office and desktop applications
25. PC builds and software installation
26. Android and IOS mobile device setup and configuration using mobile device management systems
27. IT asset management and ticketing systems
28. Web and email security systems
29. Telephony admin concepts (extensions, direct dial numbers, ring groups, pickup groups)
30. Working knowledge of networking - switches, firewalls, wireless, IP - DHCP, DNS, VPNs
Salary/logisitics:
31. £27,000-£32,000 + additional benefits
32. Onsite as standard - capacity for some WFH if required.
