An exclusive opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the sales of construction brands in a field-based role, suited to a motivated individual, with a proven track record in plant, construction, or heavy equipment sales being essential to this role.
Role: Area Sales Manager
Area: Cambridge & surrounding areas - Suffolk, Essex and London
Salary: £50,000 per year + guaranteed year 1 commission
The requirements of the Area Sales Manager will be:
Contribute to the sales growth of the division by generating sales leads as a result of effective networking, referrals and prospecting.
Successfully identify, penetrate and close business opportunities to a effective conclusion, whilst identifying and securing additional sales opportunities such as parts and service.
Consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
Maintain an excellent relationship with suppliers ensuring the correct specifications for an order are delivered to the customer.
Actively develop a network of customer relationships with both new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate for Area Sales Manager will be:
Experienced within the heavy plant sector, ideally within a machinery or parts sales role
Motivated & target-driven individual
Self starter who is able to manage their own responsibilities and working day
Possesses a customer-focused mindset
Credible in sector knowledge
Flexible approach to work
