We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This is a varied role supporting day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities, including purchase and sales ledger, reconciliations, and month-end processes. Youll also assist with management accounts, VAT returns, and year-end audits, helping to maintain accurate records and improve financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase ledger transactions and manage supplier payments
* Handle expenses and company credit card transactions
* Raise invoices, process receipts, and support credit control
* Perform reconciliations and assist with month-end close
* Prepare VAT returns and support management accounts
* Contribute to process improvements and system changes
