Location – Milton Keynes.
Salary: Base salary: £32,050 per annum to circa £37,700 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer a flexible benefits fund of 15% which is paid on top of base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits. As an Assistant Commercial Manager, you will support the delivery of commercial activities within the Delivery teams. The role works alongside the supply chain and contractors to assure and support commercial activities.
Responsibilities
* Pre-contract: support the development of commercial works information, review works information from other functions and draft contract documents.
* Procurement: support the development of a contract management plan.
* Post contract: support the delivery of contract management to maintain effective commercial control.
* Support the administration of obligations of the Project Manager under the NEC3 Contract.
* Support the valuation of variations and compensation events.
* Support contract payments assessment and the review and analysis of supply chain monthly reports.
* Support input into contract level performance information in monthly MBR reports.
* Support the settlement of supply chain disputes and estimate reviews (at all stages).
* Actively promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work and comply with organisational EDI initiatives, policies and procedures.
About You / Qualifications
* Ability to administer contracts to deliver infrastructure or similar capital projects and programmes.
* Understanding of dispute resolution processes and procedures.
* Understanding of common commercial policies, processes and procedures.
* Knowledge of contract, commercial and risk management methods.
