We are a vibrant and inclusive after-school club and holiday program, dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and stimulating environment where children can play, learn, and thrive. Our setting encourages creativity, imagination, and independence, giving children the chance to explore and develop in a supportive space.
We're now looking for enthusiastic and caring Play-worker Drivers to join our team. One applicant must hold a full UK driving licence (age 21+ for insurance purposes) as the role includes collecting children from school and driving them on trips during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities
During Term Time (After School Club):
* Collect children from local schools in our 8-seater vehicle and transport them safely to the club.
* Supervise and engage children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
* Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, and social interaction.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.
* Set up and tidy away resources and play areas.
* Prepare and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities.
* Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
During School Holidays (Holiday Club):
* Drive the 8-seater vehicle for outings and trips.
* Plan and lead creative activities such as arts, crafts, sports, games, and themed days.
* Support and encourage children to explore, play, and have fun.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
* Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Full UK driving licence (age 21+).
* Experience working with children aged 4–11 in playwork, childcare, or education (preferred but not essential)
* A genuine passion for supporting children's development through play.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
* Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Playwork, Childcare, or similar (preferred but not essential).
* Positive, energetic, and flexible attitude.

Important Requirements
