The Council Revenues Service is responsible for Billing, Collection and Recovery of Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayment & Sundry Debt.
We are looking for enthusiastic and positive individuals to work as part of a team responsible for administration and processing within the Revenues Service.

You should be able to demonstrate a clear customer focus with well developed customer service skills, balanced with a commitment to effective service delivery.
We are looking to appoint to our Council Tax Billing 1 Team, a permanent, 16 hour per week post, with working pattern - 5.5 hrs Monday, Tuesday and 5 hrs Friday.
For this role you will need a range of skills and experience, including:
* Experience and knowledge of Council Tax procedures.
* Experience and knowledge of accurate Billing of properties including exemptions, discounts, payments, student accounts.
* Well developed I.T. skills. There is a requirement to be familiar with Revenues&Benefits processing systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications particularly Excel and Word.
* Experience and knowledge of a customer focused approach to service delivery, balanced with the needs of the service users.
* Experience of dealing with internal & external customers via all available communication channels.
All successful candidates will be required to complete a Basic DBS check.

The position to be based at our Howden House office, town centre and we currently operate a hybrid working pattern with the expectation of 20% attendance in the office
