Morson Talent is currently recruiting for an experienced Welder for their client based in Plymouth.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in MIG &/or MMA welding with previous codings as an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating and welding pipe, plate and box angle.
- Working in either our workshop or onboard ships.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, wearing PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in MIG &/or MMA Welding
Desirable:
- Previous codings
Security Requirements:
Successful candidates must be eligible to undergo BPSS and SC Clearance
Pay Rates
PAYE
£19.08 std per hour (37 hrs)
£28.62 O/T per hour (any hours over 37)
UMBRELLA
£25.65 std per hour (37 hrs)
£39.01 O/T per hour (any hours over 37)
Work Arrangement
37 std hours per week - 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 12:30 on a Friday. With potential of overtime available. (approx. 10hours/week)
Full SC clearance is a requirement for this role, able to start with BS clearance initially whilst SC clearance is underway.
35 days holiday.
18 month contract initially, could lead to something more permanent but not guaranteed.
