JOB TITLE: Investment Proposition Manager.
SALARY: £61,300pa to £74,900pa plus an extensive benefits package.
LOCATION: Edinburgh.
HOURS: 35 hours, full time.
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Edinburgh hub.

This role supports the development of our investment propositions across Workplace, Advice and Direct-to-Consumer channels. As part of one of the UK's largest Workplace pension providers and a business strongly positioned across the Intermediary and D2C markets, you'll contribute to solutions shaped for the full breadth of customer journeys across our integrated financial services offering. Reporting to the Senior Investment Proposition Manager, you'll play a meaningful role in supporting the design and refinement of our investment solutions. Your work will contribute directly to our wider aims of delivering good customer outcomes, improving competitiveness and driving sustainable commercial growth..‑to‑Consumer channels. As part of one of the UK's largest Workplace pension providers and a business strongly positioned across the Intermediary and D2C markets, you'll contribute to solutions shaped for the full breadth of customer journeys across our integrated financial services offering.
What you'll be doing:
* Helping guide the direction of our investment propositions by analysing customer needs, market developments and competitor trends to keep our solutions relevant and commercially effective.
* Working closely with propositional, distribution and governance colleagues, acting as a bridge between Investments and the wider business to translate insight into clear, deliverable propositions.
* Supporting investment design and policy development across distribution channels, contributing to the creation and delivery of new investment solutions with investment, compliance and operational teams, and managing the lifecycle of fund-based and discretionary investment solutions.
* Working with Investment Distribution Specialists and wider distribution and marketing teams to position products effectively and contribute to retention and acquisition activity.
* Keeping up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes and best practice in investment proposition management to ensure our solutions remain current and well informed.
* Contributing to governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with internal standards and Consumer Duty regulations.
What you'll need:
* Significant demonstrable experience in investment product and proposition management, with strong exposure to the UK workplace pension and intermediary/adviser markets,
* A strong understanding of investment funds and, ideally discretionary portfolio management.
* Good knowledge of the wider investment landscape across Workplace, Advice and D2C, including product structures, asset classes and key market participants and an understanding of how key influencers and distributors in these markets operate..
* Experience developing and managing investment solutions across the full product lifecycle.
* Experience contributing to product launches and go-to-market activity, including support for RFPs, due diligence processes and client facing materials.
* Strong analytical capability, particularly in interpreting market, competitor and customer insights.
* Good understanding of platform distribution and adviser technology, and trends in D2C investing.
* Experience working within a Consumer Duty environment and a sound understanding of the FCA PROD Handbook and wider regulatory expectations.
* The ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver tangible outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
