Job description
Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.
This role is office-based.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
* Work within a product development team on hardware products and solutions to enhance security.
* Create and maintain electronic hardware for custom-designed security products for partners locally and internationally.
* Modify existing designs and collaborate on new product and system designs.
* Participate in training and external courses, and dedicate time to innovation and research.
About You
You should have:
* Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
* Understanding of product and system design and development.
* Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.
Beneficial but not essential:
* Further qualifications in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering, or a relevant Degree (2:2 or higher).
* Experience in electronic schematic capture, PCB design, RF, EMC, and signal integrity.
* Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.

You will be involved in the full product development cycle, creating diverse designs and systems, working with various partners and engineers. Creativity, willingness to learn, and determination are essential.
* Design, develop, and document electronic PCB systems.
* Verify designs through testing and peer reviews.
* Support products and investigate defects.
* Contribute to library parts creation and project planning.
