💰 £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
The Role
We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in a UK accountancy practice who is keen to build on their experience and develop their career further.
You’ll work with a varied client portfolio, gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, and play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Advisory
* Act as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Provide proactive support and advice to clients
Accounts & Tax
* Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients
* Complete corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns
* Prepare P11Ds and Capital Gains Tax reports
* Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts
General
* Attend regular client meetings
* Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
* Ensure high standards of accuracy and compliance
About You
Qualifications
* AAT qualified
* Currently studying towards ACCA or ACA
Experience
* At least 2 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong working knowledge of Xero or other cloud-based accounting software
* Experience with Iris (desirable but not essential)

* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
