Radiology Department
Radiology is a busy department providing X‑ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound services for the Emergency department, In‑patients and Out‑patients. We provide 24/7 diagnostic services to the hospital using high quality up‑to‑date equipment.
Working Pattern
You will work a combination of 7.5‑hour (5 days per week) or 9.25‑hour shifts (4 days per week) including regular weekend working.
Main duties
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of duties within the Radiology department to assist radiographers, nurses and radiologists during procedures.
* Patient care
* Organisation of lists
* Effective communication with other departments

* Moving and handling tasks
* De‑cannulation
* Preparing rooms for examinations
* Restocking equipment
* Chaperoning during intimate examinations
* Portering of patients when required
* Booking appointments
Person Specification
Experience
* Desirable: Previous experience in a clinical environment.
Qualifications
* Essential: 4 GCSEs grades A to C / NVQ level 2 or equivalent experience.
* Desirable: NVQ level 3.
