Overview
We are seeking a Commissioning and Contracts Officer to lead commissioning activities for children and young people in Stoke-on-Trent. This permanent role is based at the Civic Centre and offers a salary of £45,091–£48,226 per annum for a 37‑hour work week.
Responsibilities
* Undertake commissioning activities to deliver improved outcomes for children and young people across the city.
* Collaborate with partners across a range of agencies to monitor services and support the co‑production of services that meet the needs of children, young people and their families.
* Manage performance of suppliers, conduct quality assurance and undertake due‑diligence checks.
* Ensure service development is informed by changes in legislation, statutory guidance or regulatory frameworks.
* Support colleagues to ensure all activity complies with corporate commissioning, contract management and procurement frameworks.
