We’re on the lookout for a full-time DT Specialist to spark creativity and hands-on learning in secondary classrooms across Walsall. Whether it’s woodwork, textiles, graphics, or a bit of everything, your skills can help students bring big ideas to life.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering engaging, practical DT lessons that get pupils thinking and creating
* Supporting learners in developing real-world skills and confidence
* Encouraging problem-solving and teamwork in a supportive environment
* Bringing energy and fresh ideas to the workshop and classroom every day
What we’re looking for:
* Someone with DT, engineering, or creative industry experience (school-based or otherwise)
* Confident classroom presence—you can keep things safe, structured, and inspiring
* Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
* A positive, can-do approach that helps pupils thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
