Software Engineer - Cheshire
Our Client is seeking an experienced Web Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in backend development using C# and .NET Core, along with experience in SQL Azure. An interest in modern frontend technologies is a plus, as you'll be working on creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain web applications using C#, .NET Core, and SQL Azure.
* Implement responsive and modern UI designs using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
* Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, peer reviews, and performance optimization.
* Leverage Azure services for cloud-based application deployment and management.
* Troubleshoot, enhance, and refine existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
What We're Looking For:
* A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant experience.
* 3+ years of experience in web application development.
* Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
* Experience working with SQL Azure, including query writing and performance tuning.
* Hands-on experience with at least one frontend framework (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
* Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
* Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Experience with version control systems like Git.
* Knowledge of Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and Blob Storage.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
* Experience with Blazor
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Azure DevOps.
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
* Knowledge of authentication and security frameworks.

* Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year + yearly bonus
