* Partner with the lifting team to design site installation and lifting strategies.
* Identify and plan for plant resources needed for steelwork erection, cladding, MEP logistics, and related safety operations.
* Oversee procurement, inspection, and validation of bespoke plant/equipment — including coordination of factory acceptance tests and quality control processes.
* Lead and support a team of technicians, engineers, and draughtspersons.
* Monitor and manage method-related technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in large-scale construction projects (£100 million+).
* Strong understanding of construction planning, execution strategies, and site logistics.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
* Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable, with willingness to develop software skills as needed.
* Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication abilities.
* Strong technical insight combined with commercial awareness.
* A methodical approach, resilience, and a strong sense of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
* Membership with a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE, IStructE, CIOB, or equivalent).
* Experience mentoring or managing junior technical staff.
* Familiarity with risk analysis and mitigation strategies within pre-construction planning.
What We Offer
* A competitive and flexible rewards package tailored to support your lifestyle and ambitions.
* Structured career development with opportunities to grow in a fast-evolving discipline.
* The chance to be involved in landmark projects shaping the UK's sustainable infrastructure.
* A collaborative, inclusive environment where your voice matters and your contributions are valued.
