Responsibilities
* Deliver Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions to people subject to Community Orders or on licence after release from prison.
* Conduct both group work and individual work sessions, managing group dynamics and addressing challenging behaviour.
* Keep accurate records of progress, risk, and wellbeing, and share insights with relevant teams.
* Collaborate closely with courts, Probation Practitioners, Domestic Abuse Safety Officers, and other criminal justice agencies to support sentence management.
* Provide workshops, briefings and training to probation staff and external stakeholders.
* Use pro‑social modelling to reinforce positive behaviours throughout the intervention.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Right to work in the UK; must hold or be able to obtain the legal right to work in the Civil Service.
* Willingness and ability to work unsocial hours (evenings and weekends) and travel to various locations within the region.
* Completion of the mandatory 6‑month probationary period, including assessment centre and training programme.
* Enhanced DBS check (or equivalent) as required for the role.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, develop self and others, and manage quality service in a complex environment.
Salary and Benefits
* Base salary: £28,064 per annum.
* Unsocial hours payments: 30% for evenings and 50% for Saturdays.

Working Hours & Travel
* Standard full‑time hours: 37 hours per week, excluding unpaid breaks.
* The majority of programmes are delivered in the evening; evening work is essential.
* Travel to different locations to deliver programmes. Travel expenses can be claimed.
* Hybrid working arrangements may be offered where business need allows.
