We are currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury, family-owned country house hotel for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join their dedicated kitchen team. The Role As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will work alongside a skilled team of chefs to deliver high-quality, creative pastry dishes across a range of outlets. You will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of desserts and baked goods, ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail at all times. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and presenting high-quality pastry dishes to a consistently high standard Supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver an outstanding dining experience Assisting with food cost control and minimising waste Responding to guest queries in a professional and timely manner Building strong working relationships across departments About You The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patisserie within a high-end hotel or fine dining environment, along with a passion for creativity and precision. Requirements include: A recognised culinary qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Patisserie & Confectionery or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Pastry Chef de Partie role Strong knowledge of both classical and modern patisserie techniques Experience with chocolate work, sugar work, and decorative finishes Skills across plated desserts, afternoon tea, breads, and petits fours A good understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and supportive kitchen brigade within a luxury hospitality setting.
