Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Achievement Support Assistant to join our hardworking team of support staff. This role involves classroom support and working one to one with SEN children, as well as supporting with interventions.Contract DetailsGrade: 4, Scp 7 - 9, £11,399 - £11,766Hours: 19 hours per week, term-time only (190 days), Monday to FridayContract Type: PermanentJob RequirementsThe successful candidate will: Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence. Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with school procedures encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour. Support the academic, social, emotional and development of individuals and groups of pupils understanding clearly how pupils learn. Provide effective support to maximise attainment and accelerate the progress of individuals and groups of pupils. Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes when necessary. Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress towards academic, social, behavioural and learning skills. Liaise closely with appropriate staff in relation to safeguarding, behaviour, SEND needs and wellbeing issues.
