Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant regulations and standards.
4. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting processes.
5. Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
6. Manage reconciliations, including bank accounts and balance sheets.
7. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
8. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
9. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
10. Assist in the implementation of process improvements within the finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
12. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
13. Experience in the housing sector is advantageous but not essential.
14. The ability to work effectively in a temporary position in Manchester
15. 3-6 months initial contract
