Teaching Personnel is supporting welcoming, well-led Primary schools in Bexley that value consistency, inclusion and strong relationships. We are seeking reliable Supply Staff Teachers who are happy to step in when schools need them most, maintaining high standards of learning and care. This Temporary role is available immediately, with work continuing through January and beyond.
While this is a day-to-day supply role, many schools request the same teachers regularly, offering frequent short-term and longer-term opportunities that provide routine, familiarity and continuity. You will deliver lessons using plans already set by the class teacher, manage the classroom effectively, complete marking where required, and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.
Schools are looking for adaptable practitioners who can quickly build rapport, uphold positive behaviour, and contribute to calm, respectful learning environments aligned with strong values and inclusive practice.
The role involves:
Covering lessons across Primary year groups
Following existing planning and school routines
Maintaining clear behaviour expectations
Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
Carrying out the full responsibilities of a supply Teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
