SEN Teaching Assistant – One-to-One Support (Redditch) Start Date: 24th November | Long-Term Role Smart Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming primary school in Redditch, who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs. The role involves supporting a pupil with a diagnosis of ASC who is currently awaiting further assessment for ADHD. The pupil is working at, or very close to, their age-related academic expectations, but displays strong ADHD traits and can become dysregulated at times. They will benefit greatly from someone who can recognise early signs of dysregulation, implement supportive strategies, and help maintain a calm, positive learning environment. The pupil also experiences sensory sensitivities, so the successful candidate must be confident in managing sensory needs and creating a safe, reassuring space when required.
