What you will be doing as a Technical Compliance Advisor
* Building relationships is a key part of the role of working with operational colleagues and suppliers in reviewing procedures and operational delivery against industry standards/best practices.
* Where necessary, the Technical Compliance Advisor will work with various stakeholders and experts to produce guidance documents to introduce consistent standards across all our work.
* The Technical Compliance Advisor will be naturally inquisitive, always looking for ways to improve compliance with asset/industry standards and deliver the best value for money.
* With a starter‑finisher mindset, this role will use its tenacity to ensure that improvements are embedded.
* There will be a strong network of support within the operational commercial function, allowing improvements to be made at pace with access to contract managers, quantity surveyors and senior managers.
* The existing system is highly dynamic with the ability to flex resources to meet demands. This adaptability will be a key attribute for the technical compliance advisor to embrace and embed more widely.
What you should bring to the role
* Strong organisation and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Proactive and flexible. High-quality report writing.
* Inquisitive.
* High level of commercial acumen.
* Excellent MS Excel skills.
* Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings/asset standards.
* Interpersonal skills/building relationships.
* Knowledge of construction techniques.
* Methodical approach to quality assurance.
* Knowledge of wastewater is ideal but not essential.
* Knowledge of Salesforce is ideal but not essential.

Working Hours – 36 hours per week.
