This is a senior appointment, suited to an established Associate Director, Technical Director or existing Director who is looking to take the next step in both technical leadership and business development within development planning.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing area of the business, shaping strategy locally and regionally while working on high-profile development projects across the UK.The RoleYour role will include:Leading and shaping the transport planning team, setting direction and maintaining technical excellenceDriving business growth through work-winning, client development and bid preparationOverseeing project delivery, ensuring quality, consistency and commercial performanceManaging and mentoring junior and senior team members, including technical review and staff developmentActing as a senior technical authority on complex transport planning commissionsEngaging directly with clients, local authorities and key stakeholdersCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the wider businessRepresenting the company externally and supporting wider industry engagementWhat we're looking for Typically 10-15 years' experience within transport planning or development planningStrong technical background in Transport Assessments, Statements and associated development planning workAppeal experience advantageousProfessional qualification such as TPP or CEng desirableProven ability to generate work and maintain strong client relationshipsEstablished network within the built environment sectorConfident leader with sound project, financial and people management skillsComfortable managing a complex and varied workloadSelf-motivated, commercially aware and able to operate autonomouslyWhy Join?
