Overview
The Orchard Inpatients is seeking a Receptionist. Working hours: Thursday 5-8pm, Friday 5-8pm, weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) 9-5pm, Monday 9-5pm.
We are inviting applications from individuals with excellent organisation skills, the ability to work on your own or as a member of the wider admin team. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with staff, service users, visitors and carers in a professional manner. The role requires computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office packages and a good telephone manner.

Responsibilities
The post holder will be organised, professional and committed, providing a high standard, quality reception service with The Bay Network. They will work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and provide cover to various sites including Inpatient as directed by their line manager to ensure continuity of service provision. The post holder will have knowledge of relevant customer service procedures applicable to this role. Problem solving is an integral part of the role. The role involves daily contact with a wide range of people (internal and external) and requires a confident, team-focused approach with strong communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* NVQ Level 2 in Customer Care or equivalent experience
* Willingness to commit to continuous personal development

* Specialist knowledge and application of mental health assessments and interventions using expert level clinical reasoning
