About the Role A warm and supportive primary school is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This role covers:
Supporting targeted learning across Key Stage?1 and 2
Delivering small group interventions and one-to-one support
Supervising and engaging children in their wrap-around care programme before and after school
Collaborating with teachers and staff to create a positive, inclusive environment
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality support during class lessons and small-group interventions
Plan and deliver engaging activities during breakfast and after-school club sessions
Foster positive behaviour, ensuring safety and well-being in all settings
Liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies
Assist with classroom organisation, record-keeping, and resources
Candidate Profile Were looking for someone who:
Holds at least a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
Has previous experience working with young children in school or wrap-around care settings
Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
Has an adaptable, organised and proactive approach
Shares our commitment to safeguarding and child-centred values
Hours & Terms Full-time: approx. 42 hours/week, term-time only
Includes wrap-around care before school (8am) and after school (3:155pm)
Start date: September 1st 2025
