This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Tutor/Assessor with a health and social care background to join our highly successful and professional team, operating within GCS Training, the commercial branch of the College.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver assessments across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards
* Plan and deliver up to 12 hours per week of classroom training to learners as required
* Ensure training and assessment strategies and materials are planned and accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification or equivalent in relevant sector
* TAQA Assessor Award or willing to work towards
* Commercial knowledge, experience and understanding of industry, including training needs
* Able to work on own initiative
