Rate of Pay: £58.82 - £77.67 per hour
Summary:
The Head of Damp and Mould, Disrepair will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisation to maintain accurate records, manage compliance requirements, and ensure adherence to Awaab's Law and relevant Disrepair legislation.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Damp & Mould and Disrepair service function.
* Oversee a team of 10 staff, directly employed operatives, and external contractors.
* Ensure compliance with Awaab's Law, housing disrepair legislation, and all statutory requirements.
* Monitor service performance, delivery standards, and contractor outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve damp, mould, and disrepair response services.
Essentials:
* Significant experience in housing repairs, damp & mould, disrepair, or property services management.
* Strong knowledge of housing legislation, Awaab's Law, and disrepair compliance requirements.
* Experience managing operational teams and external contractors.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience working at a senior or strategic management level within housing or property services.
