Reporting to the Financial Controller, they are seeking a personable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Accounts Administrator to support their busy finance team. They are looking for someone eager to learn, who is happy to assist with a variety of tasks, no matter how big or small.
Key responsibilities will include:
Scanning and processing high volume of purchase ledger invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Handling supplier queries
Data entry onto their bespoke accounting software
Posting and allocating payments
Assisting with daily bank reconciliations
Supporting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc finance administration tasks
Preparing basic reports for management
Filing invoices and financial documents
Maintaining financial records and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel work)
Assisting the Credit Controller with raising sales invoices
Assisting with customer account queries
Our client is ideally looking for someone with some previous experience in a similar role. However, the key requirement is a strong desire to learn and grow within the organisation. Confidence in using Microsoft Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, is essential.
This is a permanent, full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to build a career in the accountancy profession. Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (with a 30-minute lunch break)
