We are partnering with a well-established, market-leading specialist within the catering and sector. With decades of experience and multiple industry awards, they deliver high-quality, bespoke projects across the UK, working closely with leading consultants and designers to bring concepts to life.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement and supply chain activities across multiple projects. This role is key in ensuring goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with project timelines and specifications.
You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery from initial handover through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage purchasing activities across multiple live projects
2. Develop and maintain detailed procurement schedules using project specifications and drawings
3. Liaise with internal teams including Projects, Design, and Document Control to resolve queries and ensure project alignment
4. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing where appropriate
5. Source and compile supplier quotations where required
6. Place and manage orders, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and alignment with project requirements
7. Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules
8. Manage and track project changes, ensuring updates are accurately recorded and communicated
9. Support the timely submission and approval of technical documentation
10. Oversee purchasing processes to ensure all orders are delivered on time and within budget
About You
11. Proven experience within purchasing or procurement
12. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
13. Experience working with suppliers and negotiating commercial terms
14. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
15. Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively across teams and with external stakeholders
16. Experience using ERP systems is advantageous
